Can that just be us identifying the name or names in the reply or does it have to be an actual sign with the words on it? Also, bike in the picture rule. Has that gone away? I’m not seeing many bikes.
I’d like to see the statue, plaque etc and yes the bike needs to be in the photo

Fun fact: despite my nickname “HokieBeth” I didn’t actually attend Virginia Tech but I did contribute to tuition for 2 students and I lived in Blacksburg for 3 years so I guess I’m an Hononary Hokie. HokieBeth was given to distinguish me from Beth Taylor aka “PeloBeth”.

In the Rosemont section of Alexandria in fact at 12 Rosemont Ave. This taller than average LFL has mostly fiction and romance novels. Could use some actual literature (haha!) or non-fiction titles.

I realize that this picture is not worthy of posting in here, but I’m posting it for a clarification of rules.
This was a memorial bench for a former Mayor of New Windsor, MD (who actually did quite a few good things for the town. I looked up who he was and what he did). It also had my LFL, and I’m lazy that way.
I did post another picture on my Strava feed for this game(which is also not worthy of posting here). lol, and the whole reason for this is that my planned sign has been taken down to be refurbished. I had to wing it the rest of the ride to try and find something!
For the future, would something like this be acceptable?
Thanks for your help (and sponsoring this). I enjoy stuff like this.

A park bench qualifies since it includes the word “memory” as a memorial.

1/5/2022 pentagon
At the Whole Foods in Pentagon City, the numbered signs for the checkout lanes are pentagons instead of the normal squares. I’ve always found that a nice nod to the neighborhood.

That is sooo cool and I never noticed it before [emoji50]

I liked that the orange pentagons on the ball matched my orange water bottle cage.
