A beehive! Bees make honey and everyone knows Pooh loves honey!
As a side note, I did see a couple bees outside the hive no doubt confused about the exceptionally warm weather. But no doubt the hive is busy preparing for the spring, which for bees will begin in mid- February or so.

Military style housing built in the 1940’s in the Shirlington and Fairlington areas for incoming Federal workers. The properties went up before much of the infrastructure so water, sewage and electricity were added later. Also this was segregated housing for several decades.

The Vietnam conflict (the US never declared war) impacted every aspect of the 1960’s – politics, culture, music. It defined an era and impacted every generation of Americans since. It’s only fitting to include this memorial for today’s scavenger hunt.
