How about here? Hint – it’s in DC.
Justin there’s nothing to work with in your photo, need more clues.
How about this one, this is one of my favorite buildings in DC:

Right!
No, but you are not the first one to think that. It is a Jamis. Which I have rendered undiginfied by the addition of so much commuter kitch. But I don’t have space for a whole stable of bikes, so the ones I’ve got have to do double or triple duty.
I don’t know where your photo was taken, but I want to know so I can go there — looks nice.

I used to have a Jamis – great bikes.
Tim Kelly guessed right – it’s national harbor, it’s nice ride over the bridge and lunch at potbelliesdcv

Can you identify this bucolic local construction site?
WOD trial, I-495 overpass. Is that a Lemond?
OK my go again: this is an old picture from 2 years ago- that’s my son on the bike ahead. this should be easy if you’ve been there.

Nice track bike, no reason for flames (assuming your pedal brakes work). Looks like you have effective commuting tires, can you share what they are?
thanks – these are continental gatorskins, no complaints – have been solid.

I was riding my Cannondale (see here) and she rides a tiny Giant (ha) OCR. I didn’t notice anyone not calling a pass but I was taking it easy and just enjoying the weather. If I was in Cat 6 commuter racing mode I might not have been able to resist hanging on your wheel went you went by. It didn’t dawn on me that I recognized your bike until I was down somewhere under Route 1 in the tunnel/underpass/fishing pier/hobo cave.
you have a beautiful bike, always loved cannondales – my holy grail is an old cannondale track in the light metallic blue. i ride the arlington loop often – hope to see you out there again.

Was that you I saw snapping a pic next to the scenic Arlington Wastewater Treatment Facility on Saturday? There can’t be that many Cinelli track bikes outside of Columbia Heights. I was riding the loop with my wife, I think rode through your pic. Was wearing a Bike Arlington jersey. Very nice bike!
yep – that was me, you caught me taking some photos for the “guess where ride pict” thread. i remember you and your wife, i think you were riding really nice road bikes? did i remember right? i hope i called my pass afterwards, if not i’m sorry.

i have only gone through the tunnel once.
btw, how do i make the picture larger?
the faq states: “As a member, you can create Albums of images that are linked to your public profile. Albums can be created by visiting the User Control Panel, and clicking on the ‘Pictures & Albums’ link, and then clicking on ‘Add Album’.”
but i could not find a ‘pictures & albums’ link. That looks more like a storm sewer than a tunnel, i image it floods a lot?
I don’t know how others do it but I set up a photobucket account to store pictures, then I insert photos as a URL link. Whenever I upload photos directly from my computer it shows up as a thumbnail.

This one will be hard for NoVa and MoCo riders.Sorry I don’t know MD other than CCT. What’s going on in the water? Are the fish jumping out of the water?

I think you’re right, so post another pic? I’m beginning to suspect that not everyone takes pictures with their bikes in the shot.

Well, you said you went to the Silver Comet Trail last year, no? I’m guessing that based on the tall pines that are fairly common in the southeast US.

Great guess. I think you’re right, I googled silver comet trail and it shows the exact same tunnel picture. CCrew, that’s too hard – you have to keep it local so we can have a chance at guessing.

Isn’t that a new underpass … Under the MVT… leading to the Columbia (?) marina? I think that is what it is called…right near the Humpback Bridge.
Judging from the location of the Jefferson memorial, Ohio Dr inlet and what looks like part of the 14th bridge I’d say that’s a good guess. dbb?
JustinW do you have a picture to post?
