The clock rises above the swamp. Curiously, the tower itself is under the purview of the National Park Service. Unfortunately, it’s not currently open for tours, since there’s a great view from the top.

1/27/2021 – Tunnel

The dreaded Zoo tunnel in Rock Creek Park. This is a part of my daily commute and when I time it right, I will hop on the road heading north (morning rush). I will always hop on the road when I head south.

One of these years the bypass through the zoo will finally reopen. Hopefully construction will start this year
