@bikeeveryday, I have mileage figures for each of the past several years, if that would be helpful. But they don’t show points. And it wouldn’t be possible to calculate points from them because of the extra points for the first miles of every day.

Ah, yes. I joined a year later, for Freezing Saddles 2014. Then in 2015, I made the mistake of saying, “This Google Docs sign-up form isn’t very good. It could be done a lot better with a WordPress form.” I had momentarily forgotten the rule of volunteer organizations that, “It could be done…” translates to, “I’m volunteering to do it.”  😆

Did that ride by any chance end after midnight? A ride that ends after midnight on the last day of Freezing Saddles will not be counted. However, you can fix it by cropping the ride so it ends by 11:59 pm.

@Nadine:  Congratulations!  I’m pretty sure your prize was better than anything I could hand out.  😀

@bikingjenn and @sophie-cw, I actually did a very short ride today to test out a bike to replace the one that got totaled in the accident.  And my legs seem to be able to handle it.  However, I’m not going to ride again until this weekend.  I’m told it is very dangerous to have a second concussion within six weeks after a first, so I’m being cautious until then.

March 21 – Football field. Must be American football, since soccer goal is a separate item.

March 19 – Bumper sticker. I’ll accept ones intended to be applied to a bumper, which are attached to the back of a vehicle, even if they are not on the actual bumper.

Although there are several people close to winning (having four in a row), no one is going to win by tomorrow, which is the last day of Freezing Saddles.  However, a reminder that this game will continue until someone wins, so keep checking back here!

March 18 – Garage (freestanding).  This must be a garage for an individual house, not for example a public parking garage.

March 17 – Hospital.

And another reminder:  Freezing Saddles will end this Wednesday (March 19).  However, this game will not, unless someone wins by then.  I’ll keep posting (and encourage you to keep riding) until we have a winner.

March 16 – Heavy equipment. Go find some earth diggers, front end loaders or other big, fun equipment. No cranes or farm machinery, as those are different items.
