I bought one a while ago. It was the last large sized jersey they had in stock (2X, which is slightly large, but I’m planning for the future). There was only 1 jersey remaining, a very small one. I don’t know if they’ve stocked up since or not
As of Saturday, Revolution had a good selection of them.

ParticipantI usually try to hit people at the crosswalks while waiting for the light to change, or in the neighborhoods, where they’re walking or riding slower and may feel that its more of their territory and may feel less assaulted by some J@ck@$$ trying them how to be more visible.

ParticipantSorry, I’m out (again). Is there anyway I could get a handful or two of lights and ankle bands to pass out on my own??

ParticipantAnything that gets first time and/or less-than-enthusiastic cyclists out on their bikes I’m all for. If its a ride to be seen in. If its a style thing. If its a status thing. Whatever, more cyclists no matter how they come to the table is a good thing.
Does the industry have a problem catering to certain segments? Absolutely, that means there’s room for improvement. Women have it particularly bad. Its better than it was, and it will continue to improve. Everyday commuters who dont want to drop major coin have to be a little more resourceful as well. But again, it is better than it was.
People are finally starting to see bicycles as more than a kids toy that some town drunk has to ride around because he got too many DUI’s. And the bicycle industry is realizing (slowly) that not everyone wants to be like Lance.
Now you damn kids get off my lawn!!

Participantsome of the best money I’ve spent on cold weather gear was for a simple cotton/lycra neck gaiter for when it dips below 35 or so. Just that little bit of cover for my neck goes a long way in keeping the rest of me warm and comfy

ParticipantApparently I’ve struck on the nightmare situation tire/rim wise. 32mm Marathon Plus tires on Stan’s 29’er rims. Good Times. I gave up and had The Bike Lane do it.
I did learn something tho. One was to work the bead that you’re mount into that center groove to help get any and all slack you can. and 2) I had taken out the Stans rim tape because I was breaking spoke nipples constantly, and had replaced it with Velox tape. The difference in the width of plastic over cloth made was the difference between not possible and one of the hardest tire installs EVAR!!

I just came across this show via a Cyclelicious post. Anyone seen the show? Thoughts? I wonder what it would take to have the producers bring it to DC Metro area for an episode…
Considering that the Key Bridge Marriott is one of their sponsors, I wouldnt think it would be hard at all.

Isn’t he asking for techniques to get them ON, not get them off?
Yup, tires off, not usually a problem. Tight tires on, seems to be a problem that I have with increasing frequency

I’m curious. How would you outfit your bike to bring home the bacon. I think Rod has leg up on the rest of us.
Maybe with something like this

ParticipantI occasionally will “reach out and touch someone”. The way I look at it tho, if I can reach out and touch your car, your WAAAAAYYYYY too close. The other situation I’ll tap someone’s car is when they are stopped in a marked and controlled crosswalk and I cross behind them. I touch the car very lightly just enough to let them know its not appreciated.
