Team Critty Pants is relentless. Note Rod “broken rib” Smith back on the road, the Mark “totally needs a pro-fit” Certifried knocking out the miles today…

You have NO idea how hard 17 miles was on that thing. I should get 10x points!

They have a zipper garage. Is there something you need to tell us?

SIGH. I was all excited to go to Friday Coffee Club and then I overslept and had to ride in a dumb metal box. :( it doesn’t even go anywhere cool like space or France.

I hit the snooze button 6 times this morning LOL!

I had seen that already. Is there an export function of any sort for MapMyRide? How else can one pull the data?

I think, if I read correctly, that you can send them all of your files and they’ll import them for you. Check Strava’s support website, the FAQ or something has the details.

I noticed this too. Does anyone (Ron) know if the mileage is the addition of each ride after rounded, or the total mileage to the tenth (the way strava calculates)? To be clear, what i mean is if benbhsu now goes out and rides 5.1 miles, will his total be a) 4.9+5.1=10 or b) 4+5=9?

    The code is available.

Being a Linux engineer, and having built my career around open source, I want to (again) thank Ron for his work! Especially making it all open.

Unfortunately, I’m not a programmer, so can’t figure out the answer to your question, nor can I add code to subtract any miles ridden by Strava athlete 136274.

A Saturday is perfect! I always go for a ride anyways, usually with Proteus. I’ll just buzz down the CCT instead.

I don’t know if this is a “premium” member only thing, but you can make rides “private”. So that no one can see them. People doing trainer rides could, in addition to marking their ride with the aforementioned tag, set the ride to private.

Also, I can’t even being to imagine how chaotic this all is for Rcannon and Ronwalf. I’m sure you all don’t want to hear 1,000,000,000 thank yous, but seriously, THANK YOU! I owe you both a beer (let the evil trend start! Maybe we can keep these 2 too drunk to ride LOL)

oops, sorry. I misread what you wear, “running shoes”. I mistook the “pedal clips” for clipless pedals lol.

Aside from spending a lot of money on winter shoes/boots that have cleats, you can also opt for overshoes.

I have those, and find they keep the wind (as well as rain/sleet/snow) off the shoe. It’s just another layer, and layering is the trick to keeping warm. I also love my merino wool socks, merino seems to be quite a bit better than other wool. Between the endura merino socks, my road shoes, and the endura overshoes, my piggies stay nice and toasty.

Is anyone else finding they’re constantly going to the team list to remember what team they’re on, or find other team members to heckle?? lol
