I certainly looked forward to figuring out how to depict the Wordle word each day, For me, squeezing out the win was just icing on the cake. Each word was a challenge to see how I could depict it, but also it was fun to see what the other participants came up with. Once upon a time, the Washington and Old Dominion railroad ran to the rail yards in Potomac Yard. Sadly, when the railroad was abandoned, the section of the W&OD in Alexandria was not part of what became the W&OD Trail. A portion of the W&OD was saved and became the Mount Jefferson Trail. During a recent renovation of the trail, a small section of the track was uncovered.
