2/3/2034 Micro – As I was riding on the I-66 Parallel Trail I started noticing a lot of bullseye reflective stickers taped to the sound barrier wall. It turns out they are used for survey work. Reflective stickers/tape work because of the MICRO glass beads or prisms imbedded in the stickers to catch and reflect the light back to the light source. The top sticker is without flash and the bottom sticker is with flash. (This was mid day and I was probably a bit close to the sticker.)
2/1/2024 Alive – this cow is not ALIVE. However, I may still be ALIVE because of the cow. The cow was at the top of a very challenging hill. I needed, so desperately, to catch my breath and rest my legs that I was glad it was there to stop and distract the other riders.
1/30/2024 Expel – I used my bike to go to the Dentist today. There is a little “sink” (called a cuspidor) next to the chair used to EXPEL the yucky stuff in your mouth.

As I was passing by this decorative arch it made me think of the LEGGY centipede with it’s many legs sticking out from its body.
