ParticipantWell, two often leads to three…so I rode up 7th to Right Proper where I had a delicious Haxan, named after a the silent era Scandinavian documentary on witchcraft…need I say more?

ParticipantOk, since I drank one, I might as well go for a second. This time it’s the Oatmeal Stout at District Chophouse. Two thumbs up!

ParticipantFreezing Saddles is over and I survived the winter. So I’ve decided not to jump off the Key Bridge and to take my bike down off the rail. Maybe next winter.

Boomer and SteveO, are you all going directly from work, or do you plan to start from home?
Ride on!
I’ll be in DC/Arlington for the late afternoon, and probably go directly to HP from the BA Pizza/Beer PAL party.

ParticipantI treated myself to a flight sampler (see menu pic) for lunch at Sweetwater in Merrifield VA to celebrate the end of BAFS2015. My favorite, by far, was the #33 Chipotle Porter. Very unique. And filling.

ParticipantI’ve been tracking my weight and BMI/body fat with my trainer at the gym and here are my stats from 1-09-2015 until 3-17-2015:
BMI: 24.8 – 23.9 = (0.9)
Body Fat: 23 – 20.6% = (2.4%)
Weight: 168 – 158.5 = (9.5 lbs)I actually went down to 19.2% body fat on 3-08, but felt weak and dropped too much, too fast, so my trainer upped my food intake by 500 calories (more protien) a day. I feel stronger, eating everything in sight, but still not gaining any weight, so I will work on adding more lean muscle and cutting back on cycling once BAFS2015 ends tonight!

ParticipantI plan to be there after the PAL Pizza n beer party, post 8 pm. My goal is to make sure that SteveO doesn’t break out the alleged bottle of Lemoncello. I also hope to break the 1900 mile threshold for my BAFS2015 riding season, however many laps that takes.

ParticipantWell winter seems to be back after a short reprieve as I had to resort to 3 layers again this AM (though I didn’t need the face mask) . But the sun was up, out and about. The only downside was the woman in the SUV (DC tags EV 5889, who tried to pass me on the right while in a single Lane on New Hampshire Avenue, coming off of Virginia Lane, who cut dangerously close to me until I took back the center of the lane and made eye contact (with a glare). Be careful out there on the streets.

ParticipantConstant headwinds while doing laps after dark at HP, as well as the commute home, headed South on MVT, and then West on 4MR and the WOD until VA Lane. Steady as she goes while she blows out there.

I’m probably going to be there around 7 or 7:30 or so and follow a similar schedule. I just don’t know how to recognize other BAFS people. Aside from riding by everybody saying “Freezing saddles? Freezing saddles?”
I have a blue BA forum tag hanging off my seatbag! And a Bianchi.
I have a pink BA Forum tag hanging off of my seatbag, on a black Trek Madone

Pete posted the BikeArlington PAL Pizza Party after my earlier comment. I’ll go to that before I head over to Hains Point for the Loopy Party. Also, it looks like the precipitation event is going to hold off until after midnight. Looks like we might still get to welcome spring with falling snow on the Friday Morning Coffee Club Commuter Caravan.
I plan to attend the BikeArlington PAL Pizza Party, too, and then head over to HP Loop Party until the bitter end, or I keel over, which ever comes first.
