ParticipantThe Roasted Boon, an Eritrean owned coffee shop in Shaw. They are one of the closest coffee roasters to downtown and carry a variety of beans from Ethiopia, Kenya, and Guatemala. Boon is apparently the name of the coffee-making ceremony which they occasionally hold.

ParticipantThere is a club in Shaw called Flash, which is also my nickname in college. Interestingly there is no big sign with the name, just this from the license. Not sure how people find it other than through Google Maps and word of mouth.
