Still pretty icy, but I saw some Mardi Gras beads that looked like squid tentacles while out sleezing

We used these blue trail markers along the W&OD to practice numbers when the passenger was smaller, and he noticed something silly – there’s no number 1 anywhere to be found.

I asked my passenger to help me find fancy things today, and among the 13 he identified (lamp post, mailbox, heater, tree, snow, church, swing, fountain, etc), these flags in front of the Travers family gravesite were my favorite (pic taken on the ride home to minimize the time the little guy was out in the cold)

Every winter, the owners of this enormous wooden dragon sculpture cloak it in tarp to protect against the elements. Each spring it emerges from its waterproof lair to terrorize the neighborhood again.
