Iif you’re not averaging 4 ride days or 3 ride days and at least 25 miles per week
Do you mean days and mileage or days or milage?
As stated, this requirement would kick out almost every sleeze rider and weekend century rider

Depends on the car, I think. With my Hondas, the gear ratio was great for that–far better than first, and in snow, I’d even start from a dead stop in second. But with my Subaru, unless I’m going above a certain minimum (varies depending a bit on the gradient), it could lug the engine or stall.
As a kid we had an old 4spd F-150. You only needed 1st if fully loaded and starting out on a hill. If revved it high enough I could get it moving in third without stalling out.
It was also fairly easy to powershift, but that was probably more the worn synchros than my ability to rev match

Has anyone set up a group name for DK200 registration?
Is there any advantage in signing up as a group?
Nevermind…just saw groups are only up to four

I suspect there are enough ‘real’ cameras around the airport and Crystal City that they’d be able to figure out who is coming and going to the path in the wee hours pretty fast if there were free donuts involved.
You’d be surprised

Has anyone talked with the folks running those cameras? I would not assume that people looking for video of wild fauna would want to get involved in police work.
My assumption is those cameras were emplaced by the park police. However, they need to be hidden better if they want to catch Miller lowlife

ParticipantI was just reading about the DK200 registration changes and it got me wondering if there’s any updates as far as who’s interested and the logistics planning of going to this as well as the DK200?

Shoaling: Pulling ahead of stopped bikes into the crosswalk/intersection, creating a shoal.
I.e. you can’t shoal a car.
As much as people gripe on here about peds & joggers shoaling them at stops, I disagree.

ParticipantI’ve been in CA the past few weeks where lane splitting is legal for motorcycles; I’m glad that isn’t a thing back east

Thanks for saying this, otherwise I might not have reflected on the fact that I basically never get out of the saddle even when climbing. I’m sure never mixing it up hasn’t helped over the long term.
Does the new bike put you in a much more forward leaning position?

Just a do a google image search for pizza costumes. It shows up on the first page.
I’m not providing the link to the specific site since that’d require me to click on it. Last thing I need is for my agency’s IT staff to come to my office asking why I was looking at pizza-themed lingerie while on the clock…
Research?

Given how inefficient our bodies are at producing energy, and how much CO2 goes into making our food, I’m pretty sure ebikes lead to far, far less CO2 than regular bikes.
Don’t forget the increased pollution incurred making the batteries and bike itself.
