Apologies for barging in on your team post, but sometimes I make silly posts and comments. You mention that you are from OK and your hubby is from Canada. What about the cat?

The cat is also Oklahoman! Her name is Riven, but she goes by Chimmy, which everyone knows is short for Chimkin Nugget.

I guess we could call our team the hypothermia hijackers, since we’ve taken control from our MIA captain! !

Adriana,
I moved to DC 3 years ago and this will be my 2nd year playing Freezing Saddles! Mostly I commute to my work by the White House in downtown DC. I haven’t missed a day commuting to work by bike since 2018. I take this game way too seriously and would love to get together on some group rides! FS gives me a reason to live in the winter, so I am very happy it’s started again! I also find posting on the forum kind of challenging, so if you haven’t heard from me I encourage you to harass me by email or text!

Yes, I know, adorable socks might not be the warmest. But take a photo of your socks and post HERE. I will be the judge and giver of the Pointless Sock Prize at the Closing Ceremonies.

No one else should try, because I will be winning this.

I liked the team cap, I felt like it made everyone get really invested in other’s success and kept me from killing myself on weeks I should have been taking health brakes instead of trying to ride 30+ miles a day to beat Jim on the leaderboard. I would love to be able to have more happy hours and ways to be near teammates, but I understand how hard that can be, so I am happy with how it was last year! Basically just so excited for this game to start again!

It’s too late, but I’d like to prove that I, Adriana, can now ride with no hands! Thanks for giving me a fun distraction!

Hi! It’s me! The new problem child. I can’t figure out why my ride today isn’t positing to the website. I’ve given Freezing Saddles permissions again and checked to make sure my privacy settings are all correct on strava. Can you help? :)

It’s fixed! I just needed to be patient apparently. Thanks for being amazing anyway!!
