Here’s the catalog for the biggest producer of safety reflectors in Sweden. There are some interesting options, though they cost more than the twenty-cent ones from China.

My brother’s written to the company asking about bulk pricing. He could bring them in his suitcase at Christmas so we wouldn’t pay for shipping from Sweden.
Alternatively I’d be happy to go with any of the above suggestions, especially the ones from Komorebi’s catalog.

They make a cool snowflake one, and an even cooler one that I assume means “moose crossing”, so I’m happy with whatever the majority chooses reflector wise since all the options are good so far. I can always find a place to hook reflective stuff on either of my bikes.

My brother, a rabid vintage Volvo fan, created the Pegamoose (a take on the Mobil Pegasus) and made a limited release of stickers

My brother in Sweden heard back from the Swedish company. I’d asked him the hypothetical, how much would it cost to buy 200 of the green frog? (Some on the Forum had expressed interest in the color green.) The company said the green frogs (or similar model) would cost $2.74 each if we bought 200. There’s also a green lizard. Personally I like the “Barbaskön svart” … And the the moose-crossing one is lovely, but I’d need to check if they still make it since I don’t see it in the catalog. http://www.popomax.com/images/upload…talog-2015.pdf
I just made up the 200 number… I’ve no idea how many people would be interested…. or if folks would prefer the other options on this thread.
My brother could pick up the order in Sweden and bring them to my door, so no shipping fees. But obviously the others on this thread are still cheaper, if that’s a consideration. w&w

The moose seems to be on the site

    Reflector Warning Moose
    Art.no: 136510A

Nothing says freezing more than a moose.

My Swedish brother just heard back from the company about the moose-crossing reflector. Yes — it’s available, and yes, it’s the same price.

Helmet covers would be awesome, if not as subtle as bands or reflective dongles. At the first site you can get one with moose antlers if that’s the theme this year.

No wait for customization, cheaper, and available at CVS :D :

Dang, we’re talking about helmet covers, just as I’m finally getting my Lumos helmet (which definitely shouldn’t be covered)?

I like the helmet cover idea. Not everyone wears a jersey – and many others will be bundled up so their jerseys won’t be visible – but almost everyone wears a helmet. I pretty fond of the moose reflectors, too, though they’d be harder to spot.

And as an aside, as a new Volvo owner I really, really like Pegamoose!

How about if we all just ride the same bike. Then anyone with that bike is a part of FS

I leave a rear light on my helmet and it’s quite visible when lit even under my rain cover.
