I was looking at some of the stats and I would just like to commend your team for having a grand total of 8 sleaze days across the entire team so far. Those lazy bums on team 10 have 61 and that’s a whole lotta goin nowhere.

    Thanks…sorta.
    Agreed on team 10’s slothiness.

One of the reasons we are 1-2 places below where we ought to be is because we are so low on the Ride Days leaderboard. Team 4 is 800 points (!) ahead of us even though we have ridden more miles. A few more sleaze days woodna hurt.

Don’t hate the playas, hate the game. 2nd Year Freezing Saddles Judd has to constantly remind himself that 1st Year Freezing Saddles Judd sleazed a lot and also didn’t ride everyday. Thus 2nd Year Freezing Saddles Judd is happy just to see people venture outside even if it is just a sleaze.

Sleaze days may be lazier than nonsleaze ride days. But they are still less lazy than nonride days. We’d need to look at the whole picture to figure out laziness.

Let’s see if I’ve got this straight.
The not less lazy than nonsleazing is sleazing, which is not more lazy than not riding at all, which is also a not sleazing.

Calling all Bollard Busters (infiltrators welcome, but hecklable…and crop-out-able).

Happy Hour this Thursday, February 2. In two parts:

Part 1: Doughneuring prelude at Bayou Bakery in Courthouse (they have beignets) – 5:15
Part 2: Once beignets are photographed and consumed, retire to one of these nearby drinking establishments

    • Ragtime
    • Arlington Rooftop Bar & Grill

I have never been to Ragtime, so don’t know if it’s awesome or awful.

If you have a preference, let me know. I will make a final determination on Wednesday.

I’m in…and either drinking establishment is fine!!

Er, it’s just math. Everyone should ride every day and not worry if it’s a sleaze or not. It’s not about crazy miles, it’s about getting out on your bike every day despite the weather. It’s just more fun to ride more than one mile.

Okay, I’m making an executive decision. Tomorrow, Thursday, February 2

5:15pm – Bayou Bakery for a quick doughneuring expedition for their beignets
    5:45ish – Ragtime for post-beignet potables

    See you there!

I’ll decide whether I agree once I finish diagramming that sentence!

    Rule is:

If you’re on my team: Nonsleaze rides > sleaze rides > failure to ride.

If you’re not on my team: Really, don’t worry about laziness; you should get some rest! Failure to ride > sleaze rides > nonsleaze rides

Hey guys – we’ve pulled back into 6th place after dropping as low as 9th (I think). There’s a bit of a gap to close with 5th, but there are two teams right on our tail.
So let’s keep up the daily riding! Nice work.

    Hi team,

Aaack! We’ve fallen to 9th place. I know we are better than that. If you aren’t getting a short ride in on the days you don’t do a long ride, please do so. We actually have the 6th most miles, but are way down the “Ride Days by Team” standings.
Once I’m back in the states, we should try to plan another team gathering. The previous “beignets & beers” one was fun!
    Sincerely (from the Cayman Islands),
    Steve O
