    Nah. I found that climbing Loudoun County hills on a road surface consisting of 2″ of peanut butter mud on top of ice and snow on a fixie wasn’t really the challenge I was looking for. ;)

    How long did you hold on to the sledge? Just long enough for the pic or all the way home?

    I rode around for 1/2 mile or so. It was a really nice hammer. I wanted to keep it, but figured someone who needed it more than I would really be missing it off of his truck. I leaned it against a mailbox right near where I’d found it. With the fixie, it would have been easy to carry the last 5 miles back to the ride finish.

    This is what it’s all about. Everybody’s smiling… even on a rather challenging route with peanutbutter mud and seriously icy roads.
