So many things to be thankful for, too many to photograph and name. When I crossed this relatively new bridge from Tysons Mall over I-495, I felt extremely thankful to be riding my bike rather than stuck in traffic!

#scavhunt I was thankful today for the garage door opener that my sweetie handed me before I left today. It was nice to just roll up after a long ride and just click myself in.

2/23/23 – thankful Thursday

Today I went on a Potomac pedalers ride that was 55 miles with 3000 feet of climbing. I thought I was up for it cuz I’ve been riding so strong, and cuz the plan was for one of the guys to lead a CC group. Instead, we all rode in 1 group of B/CC riders after the BB riders left – so it was faster than I could sustain given the hills & distance – and the guy who’d been planning to lead the CC group acted as a sweep & rode with me.

So this is Lee, who I’m so thankful for for riding with me today, and Kathy, who waited for us at the break & rode back with us. I’m thankful for them & also for so many great people I’ve found in this great biking community. [emoji177]
