My errands by bike today started with a fail at Lidl where I didn’t find seedy crackers (Norwegian style crisp bread), but did find a pop-up roses card for Valentines Day at CVS. Then multiple success at Trader Joe’s in Clarendon (seedy crackers and smoked trout), at European Foods on Pershing (Portuguese sardines and mussels), and finally at Russian Gourmet on Slater’s Lane (Latvian sardines and Ukrainian linden honey). There are a limited number of places one can run errands at the time I go out. However, this Giant is a favorite of mine. At this hour of the night (so almost no one is in the store), and with a P100 mask, even I think it’s safe to pick up a few things.

My errand was to plant the last official Calvin Ball in play, specifically Calvin Ball – Donut Ball (for some reason). I even added a tasty and healthy treat.

This was like 3 years ago, right???!

It is currently hidden at Pierce Mill as pictured in the photo. I put a piece of wood over it to hide it a little better. I’ll also post more photos on my ride that may help you find it.

My idea was that, if someone gets it tomorrow, they could hide it in a Little Free Library. After that it could move to somewhere with license plates, and finally it might be replanted on Friday for Calvin Ball. Just a thought! Be creative.

Very clever! I wondered what had happened to Calvin Ball this year. I’ve never played b/c it has always stayed way too far from my usual riding area and in past years when the weather was actually winter, I didn’t ride that far from home. But I liked watching it bounce around. I hope someone who is playing this game gets it!
