Like many others, I pursued JWilliams’ scores for the Star Wars franchise and went to the Air & Space museum where they have a full-size X-wing fighter hanging from the ceiling near the Independence Ave entrance. But alas, I arrived after closing and it is not visible from the street. But I know that it’s in there!

2/8/23 – John Williams Score – my pick: The 1973 Tom Sawyer film.

One of my favorite scenes from the book is iconic fence-painting segment. Tom has a chore to whitewash the fence, but he doesn’t want to do it, so he cons all his friends to do the painting for him, PLUS, gets THEM to give HIM loot for the pleasure of painting the fence.
