Home Alone (1990)
It took me quite a while to find a house without a garage AND with no cars in the driveway. I can just imagine the antics of the 8-year-old boy, Kevin, in this house with no one home.

2/8/23 John Williams Film music

After riding 20 miles only to find an anti-climactic “Jurassic Park“ candidate, I rode back to my own neighborhood. Arriving there, I was disappointed to discover that the 9 3/4 sign was missing from this Harry Potter themed little free library (Sadly, the vandals took the door as well.)

Nonetheless, I could at least evoke, “The Book Thief“.

John Williams composed the music for five Indiana Jones movies. This mural in Vienna reminds me of the train scenes in them.

2/8/23 John Williams movie scores-so many! I also chose “Schindler’s List” Without Oscar Schindler many Jews would not have escaped the Holocaust to Jerusalem! (Restaurant on Rte 7 near Bailey’s Crossroads)222e7c9443cf872ad6b120e59430c7ad.jpg

John Williams wrote the scores for many (if not all) of the Star Wars movies. This photo was taken on my commute home at the Wiehle Reston Metro station – the galaxy on the ceiling of the passageway from the metro platform.”A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.”
