I got this flapper style painting through the window of an antique store. Painted in the style of a flapper from the 20s

Sorry she’s a bit askew. I have another pic that’s more straight on – but it’s got too much reflection interference. I hadda angle my phone to avoid that.

Midmorning ride, I didn’t see hardly anyone out with their pet. Nothing in the pet shop windows at Lee-Harrison, but these delightful bunnies were at Barstons Child’s Play on Cherry Hill Rd in Waverly Hills. Sorry about the window glare, but this was the best I could get.

People in the Philly area aren’t as into dressing up their pets as they are in the DC metro area. On my ride today I only saw this one tan dog wearing a tan coat. I took a photo at a distance and it’s not very clear. When I got closer I stopped and asked the owner if I could take a picture of her pooch and she said “No thank you!”

We rode down to Vienna thinking we’d see all kinds of dressed up dogs because of the cold. We were wrong. And cold. So we went to a fantastic independent local bookstore and got photos of animals wearing clothing. This little stuffed cat was so cute in her baggy orange sweater.

Next time you’re in Vienna, stop by Bards Alley at 110 Church St. NW (near the Caffe Amouri). Wonderful little treasure trove of goodness.
