This one is from Bethesda United Methodist Church, 8300 Old Georgetown Road in Bethesda. Their URL used to be bumcmd.org, which I kept reading in all the wrong ways. Apparently, other people did, too, because it is now washmorefeet.org

Steeples are tall, which makes them easy to see. I spotted this one on my ride home from the airport.

2/17/22 church steeple. I love this game. So there are at least three churches within a mile of my office that i know of but since there’s an Episcopal church on my street, i figured i would get that one. Who knew it had no steeple. Then i went to a hidden gem in Arlington. Missionhurst https://www.missionhurstcicm.org/
The church’s steeple was minimalist. So just to be sure my entry would count, i pedaled to Marymount–again no steeple. Headed further north, still only a mile from home to the meeting place of the long ago regular Monday morning Babes on Bikes hill ride…alas an excellent church steeple on Memorial Baptist N Glebe Rd

On my ride today in southern Maryland I happened upon this rather regal steeple on the Nanjemoy Baptist Church in Nanjemoy, MD

Dang, forgot to upload this until now.

It’s a lot harder to find churches with steeples than I expected! Not too far from the north end of Beach Drive. Ken-Gar.
