I rode by four historic churches today, but only one had a steeple. So, here it is. This one was built in 1879. It’s still used for special events, but they built a newer and much larger church across the street that is used most of the time.

Interesting how many DC row houses have steeple-like turrets toped with spires and how many churches don’t have any steeples at all.
As others have mentioned, I was surprised at how challenging it was to find a church with a steeple. However, when I found it I was able to get a three-for-one shot with a LFL and a Monument bonus! This is Sydenstricker UMC in Springfield across the street from the Historic Sydenstricker schoolhouse and attendant Little Free Library.
