Taken just before @Judd showed up. I’m now scanning my bike to see where he hid the “lo-jack” tracker!:-0

I stopped at 1621 Wisconsin Ave, NW looking for Capricornucopia in the Computer Plus, but there was no sign. I had to settle for the now defunct G.O.A.T. at the corner of Highland and Wilson in Clarendon. There are an S, and E, and an A on the sign to make “Seagoat”

I hope capricious sponsors of this prize will accept my submission for today’s scavenger hunt found during the Immigrants Heritage Ride in Fairfax. This Azerbaijani store called Baku Delicious offers goat cheese and many other goodies from the Caucasus, including wine, sweets, coffee, and baked products. That stop was a blast, by the way. Kudos to @camiller!

What’s a better goat than a GOAT? I rode out El Camino Real through the old Spanish mission districts to get photos of the live goats at the Licon’s Dairy in San Elizario. Side benefit, picked up some of their Queso Azadero for sandwiches this week. They have a small (free) petting zoo with ostriches, miniature donkeys, chickens, ducks, and of course, goats.

I was over visiting the ostriches when I heard a little boy call out, “Hey, that goat is on the roof!” By the time I looked over to see, the goat had come down from the roof on the outside of its pen and was having a grand ol’ time wandering around and laughing at all the other goats who hadn’t figured out the trick. So of course, I had to take a photo of it!

Classic Capricorn behavior (He is not too gregarious & outgoing, but his personality traits include determination and patience) so of course, I had to take a photo of it!

Personally, I think any photo I submit today should count, since it was taken by a Capricorn :)
Here is one well-horned goat in any case:

Ok, get ready to have your socks blown off on this one!!

I found Jesus! (lol, more than one). He was a Capricorn. (This was a close up of a sign honoring the town veterans. I was pretty sure I could find a Jesus or two.)

Apparently the United States has had two Capricorn presidents: Richard Nixon and… Woodrow Wilson. Here’s the Woodrow Wilson memorial:

Capricorn is a goat, right? Well, apparently Bethesda Curry Kitchen made it into a curry.
