For a long time, I have been making many predictions, far in advance, of events since come to pass, naming the particular locality. I acknowledge all to have been accomplished through divine power and inspiration.February 6, 2022 at 2:18 am #1118702AlanA

2/5/2022 – Nostradamus

Nostradamus worked as an apothecary for several years before entering the University of Montpellier, hoping to earn a doctorate, but was almost immediately expelled after his work as an apothecary (a manual trade forbidden by university statutes) was discovered. (Wikipedia)Hah! Great minds think alike. lol, but I embellished on the story a bit.

From Wikipedia, “By 1566, Nostradamus’ gout, which had plagued him painfully for many years and made movement very difficult, turned into edema. On the evening of 1 July, he is alleged to have told his secretary Jean de Chavigny, “You will not find me alive at sunrise.” The next morning he was reportedly found dead.”
In the spirit of full disclosure, I took this photo as I was loading my bike into my car to drive to someplace that was free of black ice. Technically not on my bike, but taken in the process of going out for a ride. Hoping that the faceless cabal will consider at least partial credit for this entry!February 6, 2022 at 2:32 am #1118709Indiana

One can only hope that if Nostradamus’ interpreted predictions for the rise of robots in 2022 comes true, they’ll be friendly and come bearing books like this one.

On my journey to visit Mark Hemhauser, Chris Ross, and Jonathan Mirsky I found these devices at Chris’ abode. While Michel de Nostredame was known to be a low-life apothecary, which kept him out of university, I don’t think the microscope was invented until 1600, after his death. But pictured (you probably won’t be able to read it here because the Forum effs up my photos, but it’ll be on my Strava post too where the numbers will be clear) here is a PREDICTIVE device which is also a form of AI (mirrors human intelligence by compiling trends from data) using NUMBERS to forecast WEATHER. It compiles predictions from temperature, humidity, wind (not functional in this particular device currently – it needs to be remounted), and barometric pressure to give a weather prediction days in advance.
Where’s that asteroid Michel?

Yep! One of my favorites. It’s outside Brookland’s Finest restaurant in NE DC, which is worth a stop if you’re in the neighborhood. Parts include bike gears, a computer keyboard, and a pretty accurate temperature gauge. I think I used it earlier in the LFL contest on a snowy day.

I remembered a robot, but perhaps didn’t notice all the detail of this photo! So very cool.

I was tempted to take a selfie since I actually am a Capricorn, but instead I took a picture of Johnny at Proteus.
