There’s a book called The Bones of Avalon that features Nostradamus as a character. Conveniently, the library had a copy and I needed to return some books anyway.

9 Chilling Things Nostradamus Predicted For 2022
Astrofame – Jan 26The rise of artificial intelligence
This technology, in which many scientists are interested, is a cause for concern. For the seer, artificial intelligence would not be beneficial to humanity, but quite the opposite. According to the interpretations of Nostradamus’ analysts, Artificial Intelligence could take power over those who employ it. And the risks of the latter are also scientifically established.I stopped at the George Mason University College of Engineering and Computing and was overrun with delivery robots

I might have made this more artsy had not the entire shaded area been ice! I wonder if the psychic predicted that would happen this week!

Maybe Nostradamus gazed into the future with a ball like this.
(My first choice for today’s hunt was an interesting piece of artwork with sun and stars at a psychic reader’s business. The owner came outside and very politely asked me not to take a picture.)February 5, 2022 at 10:54 pm #1118670bigredboiler

Surely this would be the church for Nostradamus if he lived here.

Nostradamus worked as an apothecary for several years before entering the University of Montpellier, hoping to earn a doctorate, but was almost immediately expelled after his work as an apothecary (a manual trade forbidden by university statutes) was discovered. If Nostradamus had been alive today, I think he would have been a psychic and palm-reader, what with his predictions and all.

Nostradamus predicted the use of artificial intelligence. On the GMU Fairfax Campus today I came across three robots that are used to deliver food to students on campus. They were waiting for cars to pass before crossing the street. You can never count on seeing the robots on campus, so I had already taken a picture of an Urgent Care Center since he was also referred to as a physician. I just felt the robots were a better catch.

Participant2/5/22 Nostradamus- looks like serdar and I read the same Wikipedia article. Yes, Nostradamus was purportedly an apothecary before a psychic. His first wife and two children died in the plague. He developed a rose pill to treat the plague. It would be good if he could treat the current pandemic.

Before he got into astrology and the occult, he was an apothecary for the local ‘pharmacy’. I’m sure he must have prescribed himself many mind altering drugs before making his prophecies.
lol, some days you just have to wing it. I tried to find a cannabis dispensary but had no luck.

Well I’m piggy backing on Millie & Rumi’s idea but with a very different spin. I did at first take a pic of st Anne – but then on the rest of my ride (I can’t be the only one here who does my best thinking on the [emoji2186] [emoji57]) I was thinking about how really my family and I have never been religious, and I’m thinking that in my family Nuestra Dama wouldabin my mom.
So I came in, put this fave pic of Mom on my handlebars, & took a pic of it. She was in her mid 30s in this pic. It was taken on a break from a BIKE RIDE!! My parents & I were biking across Samsø, an island in between Jutland & Sealand (Denmark.)
Sorry it’s hard to see clearly. It’s a much better picture than this shows.
