Yeah, a tough one for me I stopped at 9 Tails on W 126th St in Harlem for my Americano and chocolate croissant. The store is both a coffee bar and plant store. The bamboo out front is almost obscuring the Coffee signs

1/21/2022 Coffee. I took a trip to Guadalajara today and decided to climb the hills and return home via the “back” way. Midway I stopped in Santocaz where I found a quiet cafe in their center plaza. I had a Cafe Manchado con azucar (my regular). I would have had a pastry but the bartender said they didn’t have any since the bakery they order had a problem in delivering. Booo! I ate my banana

Just want to mention that we are on day 21 out of 78, and only one person has gotten 3 points, whereas there are tons of people with only one point in the “beauty” competition. Still anyone’s game, but please do what makes you happy.

Tried a new coffee shop called Cortado Cafe in the Foxchase Shopping Center, Alexandria, Virginia. I was cold, but knew it was too late for coffee, so I had a hot chocolate with a cookie. Both were tasty and sufficiently warm, I continued my journey.

I’m not a coffee drinker, but I love a good chai! Idido’s is an independent Ethiopian coffee place, and they make great chai too. This is on S. Walter Reed Drive, just south of Columbia Pike in Arlington. Here’s an indoor/outdoor photo collage.
