I tried to find a Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pie, but no luck. I had to settle for something not quite as good.

Delicious pies for sale at Amphora Bakery in Herndon, 294 Sunset Park Dr. They didn’t have any of their small pies today and since my visit to Amphora was near the start of my ride, didn’t think a whole pie would travel well in my pannier. I got a mini chocolate raspberry cheesecake instead. This is a European style bakery and I can promise you, based on experience, that anything you get from Amphora will be scrumptious. You said European style bakery? I am definitely going there!

They say, “Promises and pie-crust are made to be broken.” … Let’s keep our promises, though.January 19, 2022 at 2:30 am #1117078SusanG1693

Desperate times call for desperate measures….my original targets closed before I could get there. I will admit that if I could have figured out how to get a pic if that gorgeous moon over any of the local pizza places, I would have done that….I can’t get “When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that’s Amore!” out of my head….[emoji444][emoji445]Sent from my SM-G975U1 using Tapatalk

That’s a shame you didn’t the picture you wanted. That would have been awesome. The fact that you even thought of that is amazing.

You folks are doing a number on my healthy eating! Since I won’t go inside any businesses, the only way to photograph pie was to order some for curbside delivery. I wonder what the employees thought of my ordering the pie of the day without even asking what kind of pie it was. For the record, it was strawberry pie, and delicious. I mean, I couldn’t exactly waste it after I ordered it, right?
