Most houses here have a cuboid of this type on top. In the desert, a “swamp cooler” is a far more efficient way to cool one’s home in the summer. Not sexy, not scenic, but definitely essential!

We have creeks/rivers/streams up the wazoo out my way. I like the easy one.
Technically, this is the Hawlings River (which I probably shouldn’t even mention. No one would notice). I just assumed you meant something small and not something like a large river.
