My first experience with a swamp cooler was in WY on a bike trip. They were having a heat wave (90+, and had no AC in the motel). That’s when I learned about the miracle of swamp coolers.

I always learn such interesting information during Freezing Saddles. I had never heard of a “swamp cooler”. I had to do a web search to learn about it.

Cube Smart Storage at 444 W 55th St in Hell’s Kitchen. With this morning’s snow fall it was easier to get there (very light traffic at 9:30 am) than back up to the one in the Bronx that I passed on wednesday on my way to the Tappan Zee.
At the Bathrooms near Peirce Mill and Hungarian and Czechian embassies. So glad they were open. Hands so cold. Put a third layer of gloves on and still had a hard time getting to my keys to open the front door.
I like the odd cuboid shape of the shelf.
Maybe I should have posted whatever Saturday’s shape is, but then the ride would have been Friday.
