Crooked Beat Records located at 802 N Fairfax St, Alexandria is an independent music store selling new and used vinyl specializing in punk, reggae, ska, indie, rock, pop, folk, underground, post punk, new wave, garage, surf, psychedelic, 60’s & 70’s, funk, soul, R&B, jazz, rockabilly, psychobilly, and more.

So, I stopped by my favorite bike shop – Papillon -and after conducting business, I told John I needed to go find a record store. He’s like “I got you covered!” The man sells records (and plants) out of the bike shop. How cool is that?

Not a very interesting storefront, but definitely a record store! As I stood outside to take the photo, the booming of the bass from what they were playing inside was vibrating in my soul!
