Once I got over thinking the sides needed to be equal, I started seeing them everywhere. Nonetheless, inspired by Chris’s radar dome in Spain (I think that’s what that is), I rode out to get a soccer ball photo on a local store.

This star was a find! This was the middle of 3 on a porch. (Pic of all 3 on my ride in Strava today – I’m not sure of multiple pix are ok here this year.)
THIS one has a Pentagon in the middle – though the others don’t.
The one of the left had a circle on the middle and the one on the right [emoji848] maybe another star?

As was already mentioned by someone else who posted a fire hydrant photo, the fire hydrant operating nuts that control water flow are pentagonal to help prevent tampering.
