Port City Brewery is a place of many gatherings. They host group rides every 2nd and 4th Saturday and they have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for post-ride beer and lunch.March 7, 2022 at 12:53 am #1120635Serdar

I love Caboose. It is so much conveniently located off the W&OD Trail and an easy distance to ride from Alexandria.

Crooked Run is a Virginia-based producer of contemporary and traditional beers. They also brew sours, ciders, and seltzers. They have two locations — the original location in Leesburg, and this one in Sterling where they have a new beer release every Friday, and live music most Friday and Saturday nights.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Rock Bottom Brewery in Bethesda is probably not in the spirit of this thing since it’s a chain, but Bethesda and the surrounding areas are rather devoid of local breweries. And all my attempts at getting the whole sign in resulted in photos in which the word “Brewery” was hard to read, so I zoomed in for this one and will put something showing the whole sign on my Strava ride.March 7, 2022 at 4:43 am #1120653sszibler

“Tune Inn is a fun dive bar with delicious greasy food. They have been a Capitol Hill favorite for over 60 years. Joe Nardelli opened the bar in the 1940s and today, his granddaughter Lisa runs it.”

This was harder to find than expected. Yelp comes up in a search, but loosely interprets anything with “family” comfort food in their Top 10 Family Owned Restaurants 😖 They must just use key words in the digital age. This one sounds real! And the people in there looked like something out of Cheers!

Royal Restaurant, originally the Royal Cafe was located on Royal Street near city hall. The Royal Cafe’s building was torn down in 1964 for “urban renewal” the restaurant then relocated to its current location.
