So, before my rainy and cloudy decasleaze today, I looked up ideas about psychology and found out about American psychologist Henry Cloud. His writings focused on newer neurobiology and brain research findings that affect leadership and performance.February 24, 2022 at 9:50 pm #1120025CBGanimal

Group psychology explains how groups form, conform, then warp our decision-making, productivity and creativity. That explains why I’m cycling around in the freezing rain taking pictures to earn points.

The psychological consequences of psilocybin use include hallucinations and an inability to discern fantasy from reality. Panic reactions and psychosis also may occur, particularly if a user ingests a large dose.

This bike/pedestrian tunnel under the CSX/MetroRail lines (and Telegraph Road/495 interchange) that connects Mill Road & Eisenhower Ave is a hack amongst oodles of railway & roadway engineering when some planner said “hey, what about non-motorized transportation?”Sent from Boomer_Cycles via my iPhone using Tapatalk

My daughter and I were enjoying determining what we passed was engineering versus what was biology or chemistry on our ride to the National Mall. She pointed out a sign that shows that humans are not the only engineers:

It actually connects Mill Road to Duke Street. If you are interested, here is a study on this tunnel, as well as the one further west on the Holmes Run Trail underneath I-395.
There is currently some discussion to possibly improve this tunnel and the connections at Mill and Duke Street.

An expert in psychology might possibly tell you if you are “normal”…or just next to it.

The Falls Church Wellness Center is in this building. It’s a place where people can go for therapy — which is known to help with people’s uhm mental health/ psychology. I mean it’s supposed to, if it’s done right. Some of them are scheisters I’m sure, but that’s true in any profession…. (Idk why I can’t keep a straight face about this. Don’t tell my daughter.)

It’s amazing what you can find in LFLs. Well, psychology is all about the mind, and has a lot to do with the brain.
