ParticipantYeah, Team DRock is out for Monday, we’re flying back from the west coast. But, school starts the next day and the smaller members of Team DRock will be back in school and not needing camp drop-offs that interfere with coffee and pancake clubs…

ParticipantMy wife has to accompany the regional education officer on a tour of schools Monday, so we’ll be getting up for usual work time. Anybody want to meet me at Krep de Shin in my neighborhood for pancakes (ok, crepes)?

ParticipantSorry I can’t join you for Monday morning crepes, consular, but thanks for meeting up with my brother!! He described the traffic in Kyiv as pretty dangerous, so please be extra careful on the bicycle!! He was amazed by your stories of visiting Chernobyl.

Wow, the Ukraine has TripAdvisor! Looks like a nice place. Can you read the menu and speak in Russian (or is it) Ukrainian yet?

ParticipantWell, the crepe dishes have English translations and I am beginning to recognized the Russian/Ukrainian for the coffee selections.

Participant@consularrider, remember to sign up for all the frequent flyer restaurant cards in Kiev, if you haven’t already done so. Big discounts!

I won’t make MMPC on Labor Day as I will be riding in the Indian Head Century in Oxen Hill, MD
Peter and I will be there! Been a long time since I’ve ridden that kinda distance, just hoping to finish and enjoy the sights along the way. Not holding out hope that the checkpoints will have pancakes.
