Cyndi won’t be there, but I’ll show up for a Monday morning pancake club again at Mike’s Deli at 7:30 (or as soon as they open) on the 23rd. That’s where the W&OD crosses Grove and West Streets in Falls Church, next to the 7-11, and around the corner from Bikenetic. Anyone else?

I plan on stopping by at 8ish in the hopes of wolfing down some pancakes.

I’ll hit Mike’s before heading over to watch the fun run. I have a friend who plays in the band that’s performing at 9:15am at the Falls Church festivities, so I’ll be around.

Anyone going to this tomorrow morning (11/27/17)? Not sure if I can, but since I have the day off and can ride early in the morning, this seemed interesting. Coming from College Park, I’d have to leave ~5:30am though :D

There’s usually someone there. Plus I live like across the street.

How long did it take you to get up here?

Here’s my ride. I went through town, because I thought it would be faster than the ART.

Looks like about 1:20 at an average speed of 16.9. Add 10-13 minutes to get to Mike’s, since it’s past my place.

If the CCT were open between SS and Bethesda, I’d be tempted to suggest going that way and across the Chain Bridge where I could meet you and guide you in.

Good seeing people I knew, and meeting others I didn’t!

I only averaged 13.9mph even though I thought I was doing well. Maybe I need a real road bike instead of a slick tire MTB to go faster… or a new set of legs :D

Totally awesome that you made the trek over. When you have other days of the week off, you can try other clubs and meet other people.
They are all on the FS Calendar.

Steve and I lingered a bit longer to chat when the smell of something burning in the kitchen wafted our way. Which was strange, because drevil had already left.
