Had to stop by my daughter’s school today to drop off her laptop. I made it before the bus so I had time to notice the LFL at Keene Mill elementary school and snap a picture!

From the LFL website map, “It all started with a lemonade stand & a little girl’s wish for a Little Free Library on this street.” This is the cutest and best maintained LFL I’ve found to date. The inside is wallpapered, and includes a little pocket with hand drawn bookmarks which anyone can take, and a guest book with quite a few signatures! The assortment of books included both children’s and adult books, fiction and non-fiction for each, and included one of my personal favs, “Three Cups of Tea.” The LFL has an Instagram page – @prettyinpinklittlefreelibrary – and yesterday’s post asked people to donate books with yellow and blue spins in a show of solidarity with Ukraine. I did not have a book to leave since I’d found another LFL earlier and donated a book of Aesop’s Fables. I chose this LFL for today’s game entry since it was waaaay more attractive and interesting than the other. A couple additional photos in my Strava.

This St. Patrick Day – themed LFL has two decks, lower for kids, and upper for adults. There even were Leprechaun coins on the ground under the library.

My LFL yesterday had the same decals for St Patrick’s Day… Hehe!

This LFL at 14322 Yosemite Ct in Rockville had a door on top which was difficult to open and see what was inside especially for a shorty like me. This definitely needed more kids books but a kid probably shouldn’t reach in to see inside anyway. I left “Lost Dogs and Lonely Hearts” by Lucy Dillion.

Zoom in on this Little Free Library on Catholic University’s campus and you’ll find not only reading material (not very much there today) and some prayer beads, but a “Divine Mercy Giveaway.”
