ParticipantLFL located at 7th & East Capitol Streets NE. The door of this library would not stay closed but luckily the books were not messed up. Nothing of interest in this library.

Guess I should have ridden in DC today since you evidently had a little bit of sunlight. Nothing here in western Fairfax County but gray skies and rain!

ParticipantWeather caused me to abandon the plan to ride to the coolest LFL I’ve seen yet which I drove past a few days ago. As luck would have it, I saw THREE new-to-me LFL’s on today’s wet, chilly ride. This is one and it is not a chartered LFL. Above the door is a pice of green tape upon which is written “Children’s Books Only” and that’s exactly what it had. On the back of the LFL is a plaque that reads “Dedicated to the Kids of Lakeport In Memory of Mary Ann Nagly” – photo in my Strava for today. Didn’t have any kid’s books with me to leave and wasn’t about to disrespect the request for only kid’s books.
Location is opposite 1975 Lakeport Way, Reston, VA.

ParticipantLittle Free Library on Bryant St NW DC near 1st Street. Good eclectic selection. Not much for the tiniest readers that I saw, but didn’t want to open it in the rain to confirm.

I didn’t have any books that were suitable for this LFL at Ashburton Elementary School, Lone Oak Drive and Summit Avenue in Bethesda. But it could use more books for the elementary school age group.Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

I, Cathy, and Karen left books in this LFL. But, unfortunately, it is empty again. Good that Karen leads a group ride to fill this LFL on Sunday, 2/27.I love that it emptied so quickly — that means it’s well-loved! Thank all of you for continuing to show this one and others some TLC!

ParticipantLFL near the corner of 21st and O St NW. Has an eclectic mix including a travel book on Spain, a book on the Jesuits, and some novels. Could use more books.

This LFL had no children’s books! The adult books were dated. Needs to
be freshened.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

ParticipantSo many books in this huge Little Free Library in the 1300 block of Newton Street NE DC. I didn’t have time to seek out another so I squeezed in one more book about food facts.

ParticipantLFL on Woodland Drive in Fairfax. There were two shelves in the library that were pretty evenly split between adult and children’s books.

This LFL has only adult titles so could use some children’s books. I was in such a hurry to get out the door, trying to beat the rain and sleet, that I forgot to put my pannier onto my bike so no books to leave today.February 26, 2022 at 2:47 am #1120102bikingjenn
ParticipantPretty blue LFL at 2504 N 16th St in Arlington. I just love wandering in search of. This is the first time I remembered to take a book to donate. The one i chose is an excellent addition, since some of the books in there looked like books from an engineering test prep course
