ParticipantI couldn’t resist visiting the robot LFL in front of Brookland’s Finest. It sure could use more books as well as some organizing!

LFL at St. Ann’s Catholic Church on N. Frederick Street at the Custis Trail in Arlington.
Mostly books for grownups. Needs kid’s books!
Funny that a book called “Starving” was right next to a book entitled “The Man Who Ate Too Much”![emoji23]Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

ParticipantMovement Rockville, 725 Rockville Pike, Rockville. This one was made entirely out of recycled materials by Earth Treks, which was the former incarnation of Movement Rockville. It should really have more fitness related books, given the location.

This LFL is a Herndon Literary Project sponsored by the Rotary Club. It was quite full with a wide variety of books, and a sign in the window that requests preventing overcrowding and directs people to donate excess books to The Closet, a non-profit thrift store just down the street. I left a small book, “On Tyranny – Twenty Lessons for the Twentieth Century” by Timothy Snyder. I personally recommend this quick and sobering read.

Participant1/15/22: unchartered LFL on 8 Bellefonte, Del Ray, Alexandria VA
It had an eclectic mix of adult titles from “Expectant Father” to steamy romance novels by Danielle Steele. There were also some CDs in it but it was too dark & cold to sort through them at that moment.

ParticipantWhat this one {on the 7800 block of Maple Ridge Avenue in Bethesda) mostly needs is a door. You can see where the hinges were, but the door is fine. And I fear that the books closest to the entrance are going to get destroyed by snow and rain.
In terms of books, it seems to specialize in history books, and could use more of those.
