I stumbled on this LFL on my ride today. It is unusual with all of the windows and the curved shelf inside.

LFL at the corner of N 17th and N Jackson Streets in Arlington. Lots of heavy duty titles. No children’s books. Needs a little levity. [emoji17]

We could all use a bit of levity!

Inspired by fellow FSers, I organized this LFL located at 1001 Twinbrook Pkway in Rockville. It had Thomas the Train DVDs but could use more children’s books.

I deposited the comic book I borrowed from another LFL.

I have discovered, after much trial and error, that if I hold my phone horizontally, it takes the photo in an orientation that loads properly to this forum. I have an iPhone 7, so your mileage may differ. Just offering it in case it bothers you. Thanks for playing along!

This is right by an elementary school, and the owner says it is intended to have books for kids there, but it really doesn’t. It could use more children’s books.

    LFL Day 10, 1/10/2022

    Long Branch Elementary School
    33 N. Fillmore Street
    Arlington, VA

This LFL was mostly children’s books, as to be expected, since it is in front of an elementary school. However, it had a very good selections of books for kids of all ages, from picture books to chapter books. It also had a few adult fiction books for the occasional parent who happened by.

This LFL is located in a residential neighborhood in south Reston. It has a good assortment of different types of books, but especially quite a few romance novels. I left “George and Martha” by James Marshall, a children’s book that both my kids adored.

Spotted in downtown Brookeville, MD (if there is such a thing). Along Rt. 97 across from the Brookeville Academy.

It had the entire Anne of Green Gables collection (which I thought was pretty cool). I don’t think I’ve seen a complete set of books before.

Flash Cards?!?! I had those when I was growing up. I had no idea they still had them.

An empty LFL, closed because patrons wouldn’t follow social distancing rules. The library will be restocked when it is safe to do so.

This lovely and stylish LFL is at Innovation School (formerly Key ES) 2300 Key Blvd. in Arlington. Lots of great kid’s books including “James and the Giant Peach.”
    Not many grown up books.
Love the multiple-story design! (Pun intended[emoji23]) The windows and door make it so inviting!!

This LFL is found at 1757 S. Hayworth Avenue in Los Angeles. It contains a relatively eclectic collection of mostly fiction. I will say it is well constructed from some handsome wood – a very attractive LFL
