ParticipantLFL at the YMCA in Reston on Sunset Hills Rd. Not surprisingly, many books on staying fit and a few kids books. Since it’s located right outside the Y’s child care entrance, I though it could use another children’s book so I left “Unicorn Magic” by Jessica Burkhart.

Arlington, VAThis Little Free Library had a little bit of everything: a few kids books, biographies, some magazines, several 2022 wall calendars, and even an envelope with some free greeting cards. It needed some tidying up, which I was happy to do, and I also found a calendar for myself, plus a Jimmy Buffet CD (YES!).

Reading railroad, 1200 block of Kearny Street NE.
If it remember correctly from a chance meeting long ago, owned by a railroad aficionado and a former school teacher. Almost always very well stocked with great literature for all ages.January 9, 2022 at 6:33 pm #1116040Brownws

Reading Railroad
Really cute site maintained by school librarian and model railroader. Cool books for all ages. Curiously I was telling my daughter about Shackleton’s adventure in the Endurance traped in ice in Antarctica just yesterday. I found a young reader novel that appears to be historical fiction chronicling the tale from the perspective of a 13 year old stowaway. Look forward to reading with my daughter.

LFL at the Alexandria Scottish Rite Temple of the Free Masons on W. Braddock Road. It has an eclectic mix of adult titles with an under current of spirituality and self-improvement titles. It could use anything related to comparative religion, philosophy, comparative etymologies, symbolism, and numerology, as useful background reading for anyone interested in obtaining one or more of the 33 degrees in the masonic ranks of the southern jurisdiction.Sent from Boomer_Cycles via my iPhone using Tapatalk

Is it deja vu? Yes, Kathy, Nadine and I found this LFL at the corner of Beachway and Blair in the Lake Barcroft neighborhood.
Mostly books for grownups. Could use some kids books. [emoji6]Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Did the librarian reorganize this one too? You all will probably leave a trail of happy LFL’s in your wake!

ParticipantGray day here but no snow, thank goodness. That would be really weird in El Paso. Not much traffic today, the Cowboys must be playing.
