Alternate idea…
Donate to someone on team WABA for the 2016 NYC-to-DC Climate Ride. A portion of their fundraising will go towards filling the gap.
Several members of team National Geographic are including WABA as one of their beneficiaries as well.
Deadline is this Friday, September 9th. (We ride September 17-21.)

Really glad you posted this’ their email had gone into my spam folder, but I’ve found it now.

ParticipantI’m seriously tempted… but it’s an uphill battle to get a 3rd bike when I already have one I don’t ride… even if it is slightly too small.

ParticipantWow, just found out that online retailer Team Estrogen is closing. I’m rather surprised since I have found their selection and prices to be good. Anyway, you may find some good closeout deals.

ParticipantI don’t ride clipless so i’ll probably get LL Bean Storm Chasers or something of the sort if the thermal booties don’t do it for me this winter, but… just in case someone was in the market for these winter road cycling boots – $99, down from $225:

“Drink 23oz before bed tonight and you’ll be 40% more likely to get a great night’s sleep!” And 99% more likely to get up and go to the bathroom at 2:00am! :p

Yeah, that was my thought exactly!
But in general hydration seems like something really useful to keep track of. Maybe more useful than steps.
Also intrigued by the red light HR sensor.

Me, too! Sadly, it also helps me wake up at 2:00am, and not just to go to the bathroom. The odd thing is that only a sip of Guinness helps me forget all of that. Actually, looking at the Guinness logo has the same effect, come to think of it.
