ParticipantSomeone get these before I take the plunge on something I don’t need.
~$99 for Kreitler Challenger Rollers with Alloy Drums and Poly End Caps, 3-Inch – On the Amazon warehouse, so they are a return…but for the price and free shipping back there’s not much risk!
Note: if you look at some of the reviews you’ll see folks saying this is rollers only. The most recent review states that this is the whole kit.

And it probably is a little redundant with the Colossal. … But nice price! Still, I would choose the Colossal Ti in that (“endurance road”) category.
I love the new ti Foundry bike/frame, though (too lazy to look up name on my phone). When I break my cx frame maybe that is what will replace it.

I like Foundry’s style a lot, and the Ti Overland of which you speak looks excellent. But yeah, I already have a Colossal that’s pretty awesome. Not that redundancy is a reason not to acquire a new bike.

Participant$90 for a set of Ultegra Di2 levers?
http://www.jensonusa.com/Road-Upgrades/Shimano-Di2-Ultegra-ST-6770-Shift-Levers
I mean, they don’t get you a whole lot w/o the other parts of the groupset, but if I had a FG/SS, I’d buy these as my brake levers just to be cool & ironic.

ParticipantAnd free shipping too.

There’s nothing more cool &/or ironic than no brake levers!
But really, talk about planned obsolescence. If only 10 speed mechanical Ultegra was this cheap.

I don’t think it’s so much planned obsolescence as the prices beginning to reflect the costs: it’s a lever and a button, $90 is still wildly overpriced. The only curious thing is that so many people were willing to pay the original list. But shimano has specialized in creating pricing tiers or decades now, I suppose they’ve really mastered the art.

This is like one of those Onion posts that becomes reality, you know. The sort of crap that leads to five blades on a razor.
