simple thread, I know I’m always on the lookout for stuff. Sometimes I see deals that seem like really incredible deals. Not sure if I’m ever right about it being a great deal or not, but thought a thread to ask others, or inform others about a seemingly good deal might be useful. Because we don’t have enough threads that help us spend our money.

not sure if a Ridley Compact is any good or not, but Ultregra components and all for $675?

if anyone sees a good trailer, I’m looking for 2 of them. 1 for a dog, 1 for camping gear. My son and I will be doing some C&O bike camping this year.

I just got one of these panniers from this site. I wanted something small and simple for carrying a lock, windbreaker, a snack, etc. on weekend rides. It is surprisingly light and sturdy; also American made. Right now, the site is offering 25% off for cyber Monday. Very fast ship and you will probably want to specify which side you want to put the pannier on if you get the one with the heel cut-out. They are also found on the manufacturer’s Etsy site.

Just a heads up that Spokes ETC is having their annual tent sale at their Belle View store on Saturday & Sunday (Dec. 6 & 7).

Full list of deals is TBD, but a little birdy told me that ALL summer clothing is on sale for a flat $10 a piece, or less. Had your eye on that $80 jersey? BAM! $10. Had your eye on those nice $120 bibs? BAM! $10.

I believe regular shop hours: 10-6 Sat, 10-5 Sun, but they might have extended hours.

Some of the bike deals are crazy good – I’ve seen bikes at past tent sales @ 50% off retail.

Of course I’ll be out of town this weekend. Who wants to be my personal shopper?

Saw these at Marshall’s at Pentagon City late last week in the housewares section. Sorry, forgot to post these earlier.

    Towels (I believe $7.99)

Large picture to hang on wall (I believe priced between $39-$49)

    Self-explanatory (I don’t recall the price)

That Marshall’s often has great deals on bike clothing. I have been top of the line Pearl Izumi jersey’s and bibs there in the past. Also great deals on merino cycling socks.

    List-o-deals!!!

If I was a man made of expendable income, that Specialized Turbo would be at the top of my list. However, for the commuting set that frequents this forum, of note would be the Specialized Secteur Discs, the Trek Crossrip & Boone, and maybe the 7.4FX disc. The standout deal of the sale are going to be the Salsa Horsetheifs.

Ortlieb sale is on at REI! Classic roller rear panniers for $114!!! It’s taking a lot of restraint on my part not to jump on this. If they had orange ones, I’d probably actually not be holding back, but rather getting myself into trouble…

    Front panniers for $101.

I would love something like this for toddlers – so they could get the shoes on the right feet!
