ParticipantI don’t know if this qualifies as a deal, but I think that a League of Courteous Cyclists t-shirt would appeal to many on this forum: http://www.sarahbecan.com/shop/apparel/league-of-courteous-cyclists-tee-preorder/ (h/t to the Fred Cast)

http://spokesetc.com/merchant/288/files/13BlackFridayAccessorySaleList.pdfhm, any thoughts on that Tricross disc? 46cm might fit me well, and that is a significant discount. I haven’t been researching or test riding, though, so I’d be buying without any comparison. (i mean, other than the two bikes I already own.)

ParticipantI love the look of the tricross, and at the sale price, its much more reasonable when compared with a kona

ParticipantCat-ears has a 20% off sale going on. Their products work as advertised. They may look a little goofy, but I appreciate the ability to hear much more than the ability to look “normal”. The ear warmers work exceptionally well.

FYI: I made my own fleece ear warmers for less $ by buying some fleece and Velcro at JoAnn fabrics. I expect one could do the same with some fake fur. This is particularly economical if you are looking for ear warmers for multiple people.

ParticipantHere’s a 27 speed flat bar road bike in the low 20 pounds with a Shimano R500 wheelset, pod shifting/Deore derailleurs, and a plastic fork for $400. http://www.bikesdirect.com/products/motobecane/cafe_sprint.htm
I got one of these for the spousal unit during last year’s holiday sale for $450. I’ve been favorably impressed by the bike. Be forewarned: it doesn’t come with any LBS support.

ParticipantHello —
We were talking about reflective wear on another thread recently, and I mentioned my decade+ old IllumiNITE tights. They have faded somewhat but still work. When new, they are blazing bright. The brand is hard to find, but I found a source online for some tights to replace my old ones:
women’s: http://www.aerotechdesigns.com/ilwodareflti.html
men’s: http://www.aerotechdesigns.com/ilrewiti.html
The women’s run a bit large (and long, sorry KLizotte) but they don’t have a chamois so that’s okay if you want to wear a liner under. The price is good.
Liz

ParticipantPerformance used to carry illumiNITE products (I have their shoe and helmet covers and a windbreaker), but don’t seem to have them now. A quick google search also listed Revel Sports amd Night-Gear as sources.

If you are going to start a company that makes clothes exclusively for women, why would you give it an androgynous name?
