Hope to meet him during one of the Kidical Mass Arlington rides. Like the one this weekend: Sunday, 6/16 10:30am Quincy Park. End at Rocklands.

I would love to, and thanks for the shameless plug, but we will be tied up in a Soccer tournament this weekend. Perhaps during the summer.

Actually, I have no marketing skills. I’m trying to make up for that fact with shear volume of mentions.

I think it would go something like this: “SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY! Kidical Mass zooms through the flattest parts of Arlington County at a blistering 5.5mph! See you on the ride from Quincy Park to Rocklands on this Melt-Your-Face-Off Father’s Day Spectacular!”

Construction is coming along nicely I see. The sign doesn’t make sense to me, though. Can anyone on this forum explain what it means?

“Fill Dirt” is dirt that can be used to fill a hole – it is not topsoil. Often at construction sites there is excess dirt that they are happy to give away, for free. It means they do not have to haul it off site.

ParticipantProbably for construction projects where someone wants to add dirt as fill-in. Maybe to build up a small hill or fill in a ditch or excavation.
