No forgiving necessary, just reminded me of a few things:
    -blind trust should be questioned,
    -sometimes validation is necessary,
-spelling is not a frivolous skill, and
    -weather can cloud reality.

    Whoa. That is deep!
The weather certainly could cloud a lot of things today! I was hoping for a really easy “Green Turtle” across the street, but they spell it Greene!! Luckily, I found something else “great” that was across the street.
And, these anagrams are tricky for me. I try to think of a few words that will work, and hope I see something along the way. Once in a while, I see a word, and it takes my a bit of time to figure out if it works. This time was a bit easier as I remembered that the only vowels were two e’s and and a (and sometimes y).

1/26/2021 — Wayne Gretzky subanagram. My bike and I visited the Alexandria Renew education station near Four Mile Run:

To celebrate hockey legend Wayne Gretzky’s birthday on January 26, find a word (i.e., not the thing) on a sign using just the letters in his name. The word has to be 5 letters or more.

Would have liked to have found something to do with hockey but everyone’s got to eat at some point. Here’s another eatery.

I thought that using “great” was a pretty good day for “The Great One”.

    1/27/21 – Tunnel

On January 27, 1983, Japanese Prime Minister Yasuhiro Nakasone pressed a switch that set off a blast that completed the pilot tunnel of what was to become the Seikan Tunnel, the world’s longest tunnel with an undersea segment.

On your ride, capture a tunnel with your camera and post it here. Please remember to always include the date and the hunted object, and to only post one pic, so pick your best one :)

    Happy hunting!

If you aren’t already familiar with anagrams, that’s when you mix up the letters within a word or phrase to come up with different words, and just as important, don’t use any extra letters that are not in the original word or phrase. A subanagram is when you don’t use every single letter that is in the original word or phrase.

Sorry, no bonus points for longest word for this hunt, so no need to rush out there in the snow/slush/rain. Just make sure to post it before the end of the day.

    Happy hunting!
