Harry S. Truman, 33rd President of the US (1945 – 1953)
The “S” was his middle name. Apparently his parents were undecided between the name of two grandfathers (Shipp or Solomon) and wrote S only. There has been discussion of whether there should be a period, since the S is not an abbreviation, but there are numerous written examples, by Harry, of using a period.

Was going to settle for that 80’s president who has an airport named after him but then I remembered this is at The Dairy Godmother in Del Ray which he visited many times with Sasha and Malia. They were nice enough to let me bring my bike inside for the pic. Damn good ice cream too!
