I found a nut on my friend’s wheel. He wanted to be a nut on the photo, but I turned that offer down. :)

“On Jan. 11, 1935, the aviator Amelia Earhart began a trip to Oakland, Calif., from Honolulu that she would complete the next day, becoming the first person to fly to the United States mainland from Hawaii.”

    Happy hunting!

This license plate was made for today….
I’ve seen it before on George Mason, but it wasn’t there when I rode midday. Went back out just now for redemption. Really couldn’t let this one get missed.

Cafe Saint-Ex is named after Antoine Marie Jean-Baptiste Roger, comte de Saint-Exupéry, a French aviator and best known as the author of The Little Prince. Like Amelia Earhart, Saint-Exupéry vanished without a trace on his final flight.

    Plane Jane Salon, Bethesda

This was a challenge to get, because the sign is actually inside the salon, and I wasn’t going to go in there. So I had to manage some creative angles to get it at all.
